My origin in food starts back 5 generations in organic farming. I grew up around food, farmers markets, produce, and hard work. My first job was a farmers market stand in Little Rock, Arkansas when I was just 10 years old. After that, I couldn’t escape the food realm. I have worked in the food industry since I was 15 years old, and it’s always been a part of who I am.
I started to picture a bigger life for me in the world of food when the dreaded Covid-19 hit us all. After dropping out of college 5 times, I enrolled in culinary school at Brightwater in Bentonville, Arkansas and it truly changed my life. I fell in love with baking and pastry and decided this was what I wanted to do with my life, for the rest of my life. So that brings us to the here and now—a home bakery in Northwest Arkansas.
